On this tour, we discover the old town of Budapest while we do what Hungarians love the most, eat and drink as much great local food and alcoholic beverage as we possibly can! We will try most of the best local culinary specialties including our street food, the Lángos, the most famous option the Goulash Soup, and many more.
While we walk amongst the beautiful buildings of the city center and learn about the history of the local dishes, we’ll make some stops to taste our national spirit, the pálinka and we’ll taste the most famous Hungarian wines as well. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t worry, we’ll finish the tour in one of the oldest coffeehouses in the town, where you’ll have the chance to try some typical Hungarian pastries next to your coffee.

Itinerary for the Food Tour in Budapest

• First, the guide meets you at an agreed location

• Then we discover the Central Market Hall, where we taste some local ingredients.

• The next stop is the special Lángos place

• Afterwards, we help our digestion with some Pálinka

• We continue with the lunch in a very authentic local restaurant. Here you have a chance to try Goulash and some sausages.

• After lunch, we finish the tour in a wine bar, where we taste the 2 most famous Hungarian wines
